Growth Habit: Medium sized bushy tree. Great shade tree.

Plant Size: Up to 40m tall, trunks up to 3m in diameter. Can live centuries.

Temperature Preferences: Tropical, tolerates brief bouts of freezing temps if protected. Prefers 15C+

Light Preferences: Full sun

Water Requirements: Avoid very dry and water logged.

Soil Requirements: Well drained soils prefered. Suitable for montaine plots.

Sowing Temperature: Usually sown in winter, 10-20C. Can take up to 1 year, without pretreatments, to germinate.
