Lychee is a medium sized tropical or sub-tropical tree from Asia. Grown extensively for its fresh fruit. Fruits are up to 5cm diameter, round with semi-hard skin that peels off to reveal the fruit. Trees start producing fruit as early as 5 years from seed.

Lychee trees grow a wide canopy that can be quite appealing in landscape and large gardens.
